Advisors

The Martin Luther King DECA chapter was established in 2001 by its founding and legendary advisor, Mrs. Deborah Blue. Our chapter has been advised by Mrs. Blue, and co-advised by Mr. Robert Camacho, Mr. Kenneth Scott, and Mrs. Gina Rye over the past several years. Mrs. Blue recently retired (2023) and the chapter's new lead advisor is Mrs. Rye.

In MLK DECA, focused on the four areas of business (marketing, finance, hospitality, and management), students have the opportunity to complete campaigns and projects, involve themselves in the community, and become more professionally responsible.

MLK DECA is a highly active, award winning high school organization. With a legacy of thousands of members over two decades, our chapter strives to prepare our students to own their futures!
